B.E.M.S. Certification Course Curriculum

The Bachelor of Electropathy Medical System (B.E.M.S.) certification course is structured to provide a comprehensive education in Electropathy principles and clinical practice. Each year includes both theoretical and practical components.

Year 1: Foundational Sciences

    • Practicals: Study of bones (Osteology), joints, muscles, circulatory systems.
  • Paper III: Physiology I
    • Cell structure and function, elementary tissues
    • Blood, cardiovascular system
    • Respiratory system, metabolism
    • Muscle physiology, digestive system.
    • Practicals: Body temperature, pulse, blood pressure recording, blood sample collection, PCV, bleeding time, clotting time, hemoglobin estimation, ESR, blood grouping, urine sample analysis.
  • Paper IV: Food & Hygiene (Social and Preventive Medicine)
    • Air and ventilation, water, food and nutrition
    • Waste disposal, insects and helminthes
    • Infections and disinfections, communicable and non-communicable diseases
    • Maternity and child health services, school health services
    • Family planning, sanitation at fairs and festivals
    • Medical statistics, epidemiology.
    • Practicals: Social medicine, preventive medicine, medical statistics.

Year 2: Advanced Biomedical Sciences

  • Paper V: Pathology
    • Degeneration and infiltration, inflammation, circulatory disturbances
    • Water and electrolyte balance, immunopathology
    • Disorders of growth, neoplasia, infections (bacterial, protozoal, metazoal, viral)
    • Deficiency diseases, pigmentation, systemic diseases (cardiovascular, alimentary, blood, hepatobiliary, kidney, locomotor, respiratory).
    • Practicals: Pathology and microbiology.
  • Paper VI: Materia Medica
    • Introduction to Electropathy, principles, life history, development
    • Principles of nature and Od force, comparison with homoeopathy
    • Causes of diseases, temperaments, classification of remedies
    • Electropathy remedies (Slass, Scrofoloso, Synthesis, Limfatico, Angioitico, Pettorales, Vermifugo, Canceroso, Febrifugos, Venerio), electricities, Aqua Perla Pelli, injections, externals.
    • Disease aetiology, symptomatology, doses, dilutions, reactions, treatment.
    • Practicals: Electropathy medicines.
  • Paper VII: Anatomy II
    • Lymphatic system, spleen, thymus
    • Nervous system (CNS, peripheral), ear and eyes
    • Alimentary system, urogenital system, ductless glands.
    • Practicals: All systems.
  • Paper VIII: Physiology II
    • Excretory system, urine, skin
    • Endocrine systems, reproductive system
    • Nervous system, special senses.
    • Practicals: All systems.

Year 3: Clinical Specializations I

  • Paper IX: Gynecology (with Electropathic Treatment)
    • Gynecological diagnosis, malformations, diseases of vulva and vagina, STDs, tuberculosis, urinary system diseases, pathology of conception, menstruation disorders, hormone therapy, uterine diseases, endometriosis, ovarian diseases.
    • Practicals: Gynecological diagnosis and treatment.
  • Paper X: Ophthalmology (with Electropathic Treatment)
    • Eye examination, diseases of lid, conjunctiva, cornea, sclera, lens, glaucoma, optic neuritis, color blindness, foreign body, squint.
    • Practicals: Diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases with Electropathy.
  • Paper XI: ENT (with EH Treatment)
    • Anatomy and physiology of ear, nose, and throat, ENT examination, nasal injuries, mouth diseases, pharynx diseases, larynx diseases, ear diseases.
    • Practicals: Diagnosis and treatment of ear, nose, and throat diseases with Electropathy.
  • Paper XII: Practice of Medicine I (Including Diagnosis & EH Treatment)
    • Fever, infective diseases, general disorders, respiratory system, connective tissue disorders, digestive system, hepato-biliary system, excretory system, hematology.
    • Practicals: Diagnosis and treatment of diseases with Electropathy.

Year 4: Clinical Specializations II

  • Paper XIII: Medical Jurisprudence
    • Legal procedures, personal identity, post-mortem examination, biological stains, death, injuries, examination of injured persons, impotence, sexual offenses, abortion, infanticide, insanity, toxicology.
    • Practicals: Forensic medicine and toxicology.
  • Paper XIV: Obstetrics & Pediatrics (with Electropathic Treatment)
    • Obstetrics: Pelvic anatomy, pregnancy, labor, puerperium, hemorrhage, toxemia, pathology of pregnancy, obstetric operations.
    • Pediatrics: Child examination, growth, immunization, newborn, nutritional disorders, psychosomatic disorders, genetics.
    • Practicals: Obstetrics and pediatrics treatment with Electropathy.
  • Paper XV: Surgery
    • Wounds, infections, tumors, cysts, ulcers, sinuses, hemorrhage, burns, hand injuries, bone and joint infections, fractures, head injuries, diseases of face, neck, oral cavity, arteries, veins, salivary glands, stomach, gall bladder, rectum, anal canal, intestinal obstruction, hernia, prostate diseases, anesthesia, dressings, minor surgery, breast, kidney, ureter, bladder diseases.
  • Paper XVI: Practice of Medicine II (Including Diagnosis & EH Treatment)
    • Nervous system, psychiatry, cardiovascular system, endocrine, skin, sexually transmitted diseases.
    • Practicals: Diagnosis and treatment with Electropathic medicines.

Internship:

  • Six-month compulsory internship at an Electropathy/Electro-homoeopathic dispensary or hospital.
  • Clinical classes and patient case file preparation.
  • Internship certificate issued after case file review by Head of Departments.
  • Electro-homoeopathic medicine practice registration issued after internship completion.
